EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES IS IN OUR NATURE.
Malagassi has been collaborating on the ground with local farmers in Madagascar for more than 30 years. Maintaining the trust and respect of the Malagasy people – and all of our producing partners around the world – is of the utmost importance to us.
We are committed to investing in their livelihoods and well-being so that they can share in our success and thrive.
EDUCATING MADAGASCAR’S YOUTH.
Education has always been one of the most urgent needs expressed by the communities we work with. In response, Malagassi designed and built its first school: École Malagassi 1 in Loharano, Madagascar, in 2019. Today, the school welcomes over 70 children, offering students aged 5 to 15 a safe and supportive place to learn.
In 2025, we completed our second school, École Malagassi 2, located in Nosy Be. This new school expands access to education for children from nearby villages who previously had limited opportunities for formal schooling. Today, more than 300 students aged between 12 and 18 are now attending daily classes at their new learning center.
With the continued growth of Malagassi and the support of our community, we have now launched a dedicated Education Fund, powered in part by the sales of The Essentials Box. This fund supports teacher salaries, classroom materials, and the development of future École Malagassi projects already in planning.
We are proud to contribute to long-term change by helping create access to education where it is needed most.

SUPPORTING FARMERS ON THE GROUND.
To further support the livelihoods of our partners in Madagascar, we started an agricultural education program that teaches local farmers about sustainable agricultural practices that increase their yields over time while reducing marginal production costs.
